Cellulose. VITACEL® CS 20 FC by JRS Rettenmaier is a natural, sustainable, non-GMO, mattifying and slip agent. It is eco- and skin-friendly, fast and easily biodegradable, made of renewable resources grade. It acts as a wrinkle filler. It possesses high sebum absorption, non-stickiness, bulking and hair-softening. It is chemically inert and an excellent substitute for inorganic fine powders. It offers a suspension look slightly opaque with a nice skin feel. It creates a gentle exfoliating balling effect during application and distribution on the skin. It is independent of temperature, shearing rate, pressure and pH changes. Due to its neutral and inert character, it can be used universally in practically any area of personal care without sensory interference, for example in peelings, creams as well as in powders and dry products. VITACEL® CS 20 FC finds application in color cosmetics. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved as well as vegan, Halal and Kosher certified. Recommended shelf life is 5 years.
