Trimyristin. DYNASAN® 118 by IOI Oleo is a consistency agent and viscosity adjuster for water-free, oil-based products and emulsions. It is used as adjuvant, crystallization accelerator and seeding agent to improve the solidification process in stick formulations.
- It is a triester of glycerin and myristic acid or stearic acid.
- It is highly stable against oxidation and has a neutral odor and taste. The stable beta-modification has a very sharp melting point and a triclinic structure.
- DYNASAN® 118 can be used in creams and lotions as body-imparting and structure-forming component.
- Recommended for skin care, body, care, sun care, color cosmetics, baby care, hair care, self-tanning, beard care and deodorant applications.
