Trimyristin. DYNASAN® 114 by IOI Oleo is a consistency agent and viscosity adjuster for water-free, oil-based products and emulsions. It is used as adjuvants in stick formulations and also acts as crystallization accelerator and seeding agent to improve the solidification process.
- It is a triester of glycerin and myristic acid or stearic acid. The stable beta-modification has a very sharp melting point and a triclinic structure.
- It is highly stable against oxidation and has a neutral odor and taste.
- DYNASAN® 114 can be used in creams and lotions as body-imparting and structure-forming component.
- Recommended for color cosmetics, self-tanning, deodorants and skin-, body-, sun-, baby-, hair- and beard care formulas.
