Tapioca Starch. NATIVACARE™ 9360 by Ingredion is a non-ionic, natural polymer derived from tapioca, which is used to modify the rheology of cosmetic products, whilst improving skin feel properties. At higher concentrations or acid concentrations, NATIVACARE™ 9360 can set to a soft gel with excellent organoleptic characteristics. It is recommended for low pH, high temperature or high shear process. As aesthetic enhancer, it aids flowability/spreadibility and appearance, improves skin-feel in-and after use. Its bland odor profile enhances fragrance character and intensity in the finished product, making it particularly suitable for body powders. It finds application in personal care products such as body powders, liquid talc, color cosmetics, lotions, creams, gels, deodorants and dry shampoos. It is certified organic according to Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 It has a shelf life of 2 years.
