IRAFRUIT A.H.A. by I.R.A. Istituto Ricerche Applicate is a smoothing, exfoliating, anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing agent. It is a synergetic mixture of alpha-hydroxy acids extracted from fruits (lemon, bilberry, grapefruit) and tomato. Acts as an exfoliant, anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and smoothing active. At low pH, it is keratolytic and improves skin appearance while at less acidic pH it stimulates the natural cell renewal process. The association with moisturizing and anti-aging substances enhances its effect, since the keratolytic action produces microspaces among corneocytes which increases the opportunity for functional substances to penetrate.
