Polyester-25. Polycrylene® S1 by Hallstar is a sunscreen active photo stabilizer. It provides enhancement of water resistance and substantivity. It replaces the triplet quenching chromophore of polycrylene with one that is also a highly effective singlet state quencher, permitting formulators to combine active ingredients once considered too photo-unstable to be effective. It also photo stabilizes avobenzone extremely well. Polycrylene® S1 is used in beach and daily wear products (sun care), like in spray, lotion, cream, balm and gel forms.
