Isopropyl Myristate. HALLSTAR® IPM-NF by Hallstar is a multifunctional (emollient, solvent, lubricant, spreading agent, fragrance extender, penetrant) grade. It is synthetically produced ester of vegetal myristic acid and petrochemical isopropyl alcohol. This biodegradable and plant derived/vegetal-based ingredient offers feel modification/enhancement. It is non-occlusive, spreads well and provides an elegant, non-oily skin feel. HALLSTAR® IPM-NF is used in after-sun skin care, antiperspirants, bath additives, deodorants, eye area color cosmetics and facial color cosmetics. Also, used in facial skin- & foot care, fragrances, hair conditioners, hand-, body-, lip- & nail care, personal lubricants, self-tanners, shaving products, styling aids and tanning oils.
