Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate. HALLSTAR® GMS SE/AS by Hallstar is a bodying-, co-emulsifying-, emulsifying (O/W)- & emulsion stabilizing agent and viscosity stabilizer. This plant derived/vegetal-based and biodegradable ingredient provides good electrolyte stability for both hair and skin conditioning emulsions. Its nonionic nature allows its use across the range of pH typically employed in personal care product formulation (3.5-9). HALLSTAR® GMS SE/AS is used in antiperspirants, beach wear sun- & daily wear sun care, depilatories, facial- & eye area color cosmetics & facial cleansers. Also, used in color cosmetics, facial skin care, foot care, hair colorants, hair conditioners, hand & body care, nail care, self-tanners and shaving products and styling aids.
