Titanium Dioxide (and) Dimethicone. HallBrite® T-97 by Hallstar is a hydrophobic, non-nanoparticulate, sunscreen active and UVA & UVB absorber. It is also useful as a colorant, reducing the color intensity of otherwise more intensely colored products when incorporated at low use level (0.5% or less). Adequate dispersion is necessary to achieve minimum skin whitening during, and subsequent to, application of the finished sunscreen product. It easily added to the oil phase of a formulation and can maximize dispersion and consequently efficacy. HallBrite® T-97 is used in beach wear sun- and daily wear sun care.
