Gustav Heess Cotton seed oil

Gossypium Herbaceum Seed Oil. Cotton seed oil by Gustav Heess acts as a base oil and conditioning agent. It is pressed or extracted from cotton seeds and combines a high degree of unsaturation with good oxidative stability. It is rich in vitamin E and has a 2:1 ratio of polyunsaturated to saturated fatty acids. Its fatty acid profile consists of unsaturated fatty acids including mono-unsaturated (oleic), poly-unsaturated (linoleic) and saturated (palmitic and stearic) acids. Cotton seed oil finds application in formulating skin cleansing, makeup, skin care and hair care products.
