Etidronic Acid. SL200 by Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology (Tinci) acts as a chelating agent. It is an organic poly-phosphate with strong complexation with ferri, copper, zinc and other metal ion, usually used as complexant and water stabilizer. It is stable to high pH, radiation and heat, better than other organic phosphate.
- Due to its excellent complexation with aqueous metal ion especially calcium ion, favorable scale inhibition can be achieved.
- It is stable under high pH conditions and barely undergoes hydrolysis, with minimal decomposition observed under moderate radiation.
- Because of low toxicity SL200 is recommended to apply in personal care products, such as anti-dandruff shampoo including ZPT/SPT to prevent color changing as a result of metal ion existence, or hair dye in case of oxidation.
- It has a shelf life of 1 year.
