Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride. GUAR 14S by Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology (Tinci) is a quaternized water-soluble derivative from natural guar gum. It acts as a cationic conditioner. It has excellent thickener, anti-static and suspending properties.
- It forms a free breathing film on hair and skin, and generate good protection, moisturization, and lubricity.
- It is easily dispersed in water due to extra surface treatment.
- It has an affinity for keratin in hair and skin and helps to reduce irritation caused by surfactants.
- GUAR 14S improves both dry and wet combability of hair, while imparting gloss, a silky feel, and enhanced manageability.
- It has good compatibility with anionic, cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric emulsifiers.
- It is used in 2-in-1 shampoos, conditioners, and hair treatments, as well as hand soaps, body washes, facial cleansers, skin lotions, and creams.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months.
