UV Cut ZnO-61-DM

Zinc Oxide (and) Dimethicone (and) PEG-10 Dimethicone. UV Cut ZnO-61-DM by Grant Industries is 60% dispersion of UV attenuation grade zinc oxide in dimethicone. Offers very efficient UVA protection with transparent appearance due to its finely dispersed particle size. In addition, it features a stable dispersion without sediment and provides a non-greasy and smooth skin feel, and strong water-repellency. Because of its skin compatibility and non-toxic property, it is recommended for daily care products. Estimated SPF value = 0.9-1.8 for each point in a formula on the basis of 100 points. PA+++ is achieved at about 30% use level. UV Cut ZnO-61-DM can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous systems. It is used in sun care, skin care, color cosmetic and hair care formulations.
