omega-Anisyldimethicone. Vertasil® VAN-07 is a unique hybrid natural/silicone compound derived from the essential oil of tarragon. Vertasil® VAN-07 has a light, emollient texture and excellent slip with a faint odor of anise. Due to solubility in a wide range of cosmetic oils, it can easily be incorporated into anhydrous products and o/w and w/o emulsions to increase shine and improve feel of skin and hair products.
