Vertasil® TM-L01

Limonenyltrisiloxane. Vertasil® TM-L01 by Gelest acts as an emollient. It is a unique hybrid natural/silicone compound resulting from the insertion of limonene onto a silicone backbone designed to improve solubility over cyclomethicones such as cyclopentasiloxane. It provides light, dry feeling and adds slip without a greasy feel. Due to solubility in a wide range of cosmetic oils, it can easily be incorporated into anhydrous products and o/w and w/o emulsions. Vertasil® TM-L01 can be used in a variety of personal care and cosmetic products such as cleansers, wipes, lotions and foundations.
