Titanium Dioxide (98-99%) (and) Stearyl Triethoxysilane (1-2%). Gelest Titanium Dioxide SS by Gelest is a surface-treated powder. It offers a lubricious skin feel, aesthetics and water repellency. It imparts the excellent wetting properties of the shorter chain silanes with a more emollient skin feel in powders and dispersed systems. It improves skin adhesion and a cushiony feel. It provides enhanced compressibility in pressed powders. Gelest Titanium Dioxide SS is used in sunscreens, loose powders, powder cream products, water-in-oil foundations and water-in-silicone foundations.
