Black Iron Oxide (CI 77499) (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane. Gelest Black Iron Oxide TC by Gelest is a treated pigment. It is coated with an alkylsilane which provides a very hydrophobic coating that increases the ease of particle dispersion in natural and synthetic fluids. It helps to stabilize particles in emulsion systems. It improves pigment performance in oils and silicone. It enhances wear on the skin and decreases oil absorption. It is suitable for BB creams, foundations, pressed powders and hot pours products. Gelest Black Iron Oxide TC has a shelf life of 5 years.
