Tribehenin PEG-20 Esters. Emulium® 22 MB by Gattefossé is an O/W emulsifier. It creates fine, elegant emulsions with a transforming skin feel. While products formulated with this ingredient look thick and rich in the jar, they are surprisingly light to the touch, with a long play time, light after-feel, and matte finish. It has a long behenic chain (C22) and yields non-tacky, non-greasy emulsions that leaves only a very light residual film even when used with UV filters. It exhibits excellent stability and refined touch. It offers rich & bright appearance, excellent pick-up, rapid absorbency and easy spreadability. It shows excellent compatibility with the latest oils and actives used in cosmetic formulations. This non-animal & vegetal origin ingredient offers water resistance. Emulium® 22 MB is used in decorative cosmetics/make-up, creams, lotions & gels, eye contour and skin-, sun-, hair- & men care applications.
