Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Polysorbate 60. Cerapharm® Nonionic Emulsifying Wax NF4003 by Fumei is a nonionic emulsifying wax consisting of vegetable and mineral-derived emulsifiers and stabilizers. It is self-emulsifying, highly stable in acidic and basic media, and highly compatible with most pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients. It forms a lamellar liquid crystal structure which can improve the skin feeling of the emulsion, promote time-release hydration, and enhance the moisturizing effect.
  • It can enhance product stability and provide the textures and consistencies that formulators need.
  • It is used as a stable carrier to convey most active substances in a wide PH range.
  • It shows excellent environmental and high temperature stability.
  • It is resistant to electrolytes, without the need to process fluffy power (vs carbomer, xanthan gum) and to neutralize (vs carbomer).
  • Cerapharm® Nonionic Emulsifying Wax NF4003 is recommended for use in facial hydrating cream, baby cream and emulsion, AHA/BHA cream, oxidant and neutralizer (pH 3-3.5), hair dye (pH 10-10.5), perm lotion (pH 9-9.5), hair relaxer and depilatory cream (pH 12-12.5), and topical ointment.
  • It is RSPO certified and complies with USP, especially its EO and dioxane residue comply with the pharmaceutical standard.
