Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid. SoleClat™ PBSA (Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid 99%) by Flychem is a high purity, organic sunscreen agent and UVB absorber. It has a non-greasy and lightweight feel. It exhibits excellent photostability, ensuring consistent protection over time when exposed to sunlight. Due to its low skin sensitization potential, it is ideal for sensitive skin formulations.
  • It can be combined with other UV filters to enhance the overall sun protection factor (SPF) and achieve broad-spectrum protection.
  • It is water-soluble, making it suitable for water-based formulations such as gels, lotions and sprays.
