Phenoxyethyl Caprylate. TEGOSOFT® XC MB by Evonik is an emollient with excellent solvent properties for UV filters and lipophilic active ingredients. It is based on more than 50% natural raw materials. It imparts pleasant and non-oily skin feel. It is suited for stable low-viscous formulations due to water-like density. Also, provides a slight SPF boosting effect. TEGOSOFT® XC MB is applicable in sun care lotions, sprays, creams, gels and oils, skin care creams and lotions, day care facial creams and serums, spray-able emulsions, antiperspirants/deodorants and decorative cosmetics.
