TEGO® Care PBS 6 MB

Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate. TEGO® Care PBS 6 MB by Evonik is a non-ionic, unique, versatile PEG-free O/W emulsifier. It is based on renewable sources like glycerol, stearic acid and behenic acid. It gives outstanding formulation flexibility regarding high amounts of water-soluble UV filters and provides excellent stabilization for low viscosity O/W lotions and sprays. It provides moisturization properties.

• This high-performance ingredient tolerates electrolytes and high amounts of urea or ethanol and is suitable for systems preserved with natural preservatives such as organic acids (e.g. benzoic- and sorbic acid).
• It enables time and energy saving hot/cold processing.
• TEGO® Care PBS 6 MB finds application in formulating lotions, sprays, insect repellents and sun care products.
• The shelf life of the product is 720 days after production.
