EmulWelt® Viscofett

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. EmulWelt® Viscofett by ErlenWelt is an excellent, high-performing oil thickening agent and texturizer. It is 100% natural and based on a crystal network system that binds the liquid oil to form a smooth paste or a solid butter-like structure at higher dosage.

• It provides a pleasant rich texture in emulsions and builds up viscosity without adding further richness to the product.
• It delivers a very good thickening effect without feeling heavy on the skin.
• It does not show a tendency towards oxidation, so it stays stable during the life time of a product and will neither change color nor smell.
• It has a good general toxicological profile and is free from palm-oil.
• EmulWelt® Viscofett is used in the creation of soft balms particularly in baby care, lip care, W/O-emulsions like night creams and various protective and waterless formulations wherever firm textures are needed.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
