EmulWelt® GSC

Glyceryl Stearate Citrate. EmulWelt® GSC by ErlenWelt is an excellent, high-performing O/W-emulsifier. It is 100% natural, palm free, easy to use active that works perfectly even under difficult conditions. It provides a pleasant texture in emulsions and builds up viscosity. It shows extraordinary robustness with surfactants or amphiphilic preservative boosters.

• It does not show a tendency towards oxidation, stays stable during the life time of a product and will neither change color nor smell.
• Creams with it can easily be modified from light and velvety to rich and protecting.
• It works well with non-ionic emulsifiers and can be complemented with various co-emulsifiers and/or texturizers.
• It has good skin compatibility and general toxicological profile.
• EmulWelt® GSC is recommended for baby-, sun-, face- and skin-care products.
• It is suitable for creating a large variety of emulsions ranging from fluid lotions to thick creams.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
