
Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (and) Silica. PURESIL™ EP 02 by Elkem Silicones offers soft focus masking skin imperfection and sensory enhancing properties. This ingredient provides wrinkle blurring, matte finish, and smooth & silky feel. It is a spherical silicone elastomer powder coated with silica. It shows improvements in spreadability and oil absorption. It imparts dry & lubricious skin feel and sebum absorption. It also thickens water in silicone emulsions and anhydrous systems. PURESIL™ EP 02 is used in pressed powder foundation, concealers, make-up base, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows, mascaras, and lipsticks. It is also used in skin serum, primers, moisturizers, anti-aging products, sun protections (cream and lotions) and suntan lotions. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
