PURESIL™ BSG-200

Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. PURESIL™ BSG-200 by Elkem Silicones is a dispersion of silicone crosspolymer in dimethicone. It acts as a sensory enhancer and thickening agent. This ingredient enhances spreadability and reduces tackiness. It offers matte effect, smoothness, moisturization feel, optically wrinkle masking, non-greasiness and soft & silky skin feel with longer play time than cyclopentasiloxane grade. It is a thicker silicone gel than PURESIL BSG-200S. It shows good compatibility with other silicone oils and can be cold processed. It is used for emolliency, conditioning, slip, optical effect and stabilization. PURESIL™ BSG-200 is suitable for make-up, skin-, hair- and sun care applications. It is used in concealers, foundations, make-up bases, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows, matte lip glaze, lipsticks, skin serum, moisturizers, and anti-aging products. It is designed for sun protection (cream and lotions), suntan lotions, leave-in conditioners, spray, and styling products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
