Polymethylsilsesquioxane. MIRASIL™ MICROPEARL 40 by Elkem Silicones consists of highly pure spherical silicone resin particles with 3D network. It offers water repellence, heat resistance & excellent lubricity while maintaining a non-greasy touch. This ingredient provides exceptional skin feel in various cosmetic formulations. It has excellent heat and chemical resistance while it has dry feeling. On the other hand, polymer powder has very soft, smooth, silky and creamy feeling while it is weak against heat and chemicals. It prevents pigment and powder agglomeration. MIRASIL™ MICROPEARL 40 is suitable for facial creams & lotions, anti-aging products, foundations, pressed powders, lipsticks, mascara and eye shadows. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
