
Cyclopentasiloxane. MIRASIL™ CM5 by Elkem Silicones is a volatile carrier that provides a soft silky feel and improves spreading properties. Also, used as a non-comedogenic emollient in skin care. It is a transient carrier for active salts in antiperspirants and deodorants. In hair care, it improves the wet combing, yet leaves no residue. It delivers fragrance and gives skin a smooth non-cooling feel in perfumes. MIRASIL™ CM5 is used for a wide range of personal care applications. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months from its date of manufacturing.
