Propoxytetramethylpiperidinyl Dimethicone. MIRASIL™ ADMH 395 by Elkem Silicones brings long lasting conditioning without build-up. It is a medium to high viscosity hindered amine functionalized polydimethylsiloxane, specially developed, and patented, for formulation to non-yellowing emulsions and micro emulsions. It provides smooth feel to dry hair, eases wet & dry combing and improves color depth & longevity when used in semi-permanent color product. It protects hair from heat damage. It offers free radical scavenger performance and allows protection of hair and skin against thermo oxidative stress (UV light, hair dryer, aging). Antiradical activity assay is based on the reduction of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). It enables clear shampoo formulations and cold process manufacturing. MIRASIL™ ADMH 395 is a fluid stable in a wide range of cosmetic formulations. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months from its date of manufacturing.
