BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2000

Hectorite. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2000 by Elementis is a non-animal, non-abrasive rheological additive for aqueous cosmetics and toiletries. It is highly beneficiated, easily dispersible, powdered smectite clay. It increases the viscosity of the aqueous phase and stabilizes viscosity on aging at varying temperatures under shear conditions. It offers thermostable thixotropy/pseudoplasticity and reduces phase separation & syneresis. It provides excellent suspension control and smooth, silky feel. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2000 is designed for use in oil in water & water in oil emulsions, creams, lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, face packs, facial make-up, sun care and hair care products. It has a shelf life of 4 years. It is vegan and approved by Ecocert Greenlife and COSMOS.
