BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 1100

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 1100 by Elementis is a non-animal origin, non-abrasive rheological additive. It offers thixotropy and good anti-settling properties to the water phase of cosmetics. It is a purified, acid-stable, hectorite clay which exhibits the ability to absorb oils in skin treatments. It provides suspension control at low viscosity, increases the viscosity of the aqueous phase and reduces phase separation & syneresis. It offers a smooth and silky feel to cosmetics. It is recommended for oil in water & water in oil emulsions, creams, lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, face packs, facial make-up, sun care and hair care products. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 1100 is vegan and approved by Ecocert Greenlife in accordance with the COSMOS-standard. It has a shelf life of 4 years.
