Cucurbiturils. AqFresh™ Pure by Elementis is a new & patented, next generation of smart odor control in a wide range of pH formulations. It has a unique, pumpkin-like shape which enables supramolecular capture of malodors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and further release of preloaded fragrances molecules. It contains barrel-shaped molecules with hydrophobic cavity & an electronegative polar portal which facilitates high affinity binding through non-covalent interactions to various molecules with different sizes and functional groups. It exhibits high chemical and thermal stability. It offers longevity by maintaining fragrance character, intensity and improved hedonic tones. It is a highly versatile ingredient that works well in powder (solid) as well as liquid form. It is effective in a wide range of pH (acidic, neutral and alkaline). It is compatible with most ingredients in underarm products. AqFresh™ Pure provides up to 48 hour odor protection in a variety of deodorants and antiperspirants. The shelf life of this grade is 3 years. It is "Cradle to Cradle Platinum Material Health" certified.
