Retinyl Linoleate (>80%). Eastman GEM™ Retinyl Linoleate by Eastman is a high-purity anti-aging agent. It is a bio-based ingredient derived from safflower oil. It is prepared using GEM™ technology which significantly reduces energy, carbon dioxide emissions, waste, and water usage. It helps reduce appearance of lines & wrinkles, improves evenness of skin tone and smoothens texture. It is an effective, non-irritating, more stable and milder alternative to retinol. It has a low E factor of 6.0.

• Its fatty acid component is a polyunsaturated fatty acid which offers better solubility in skin lipids for more effective skin care.
• Once absorbed into skin, the retinol is released from the ester over time by skin enzymes.
