SERICIN

SERICIN by DSM-Firmenich is a BSE-Free film forming agent. It is a natural silk bioactive extract produced by the silkworm Bombyx mori. It has strong affinity to keratin and forms natural, semi-occlusive, protective and anti-wrinkle film on the skin. Offers immediate, long lasting, smooth and silky feeling that even persists after showering. It also reduces silkworm water loss (TEWL or TWL) and irritation. SERICIN is used in formulating skin care products.
