Dimethicone. XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 500,000cS acts as a conditioning additive and anti-foaming agent. It is a high viscosity polydimethylsiloxane fluid and is inert, non-toxic, non-greasy, non-occlusive and non-stinging on skin. It offers high compressibility, shearability without breakdown, flash point, damping action and oxidation resistance. It exhibits low fire hazard, low reactivity & vapor pressure, low surface energy, low pour point and good heat stability. It provides easy combing & detangling for wet or dry hair and adds lubricious feel, softness, smoothness and gloss to the hair. Moreover, it offers excellent water repellency and dielectric properties. XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 500,000cS finds application in formulating hair-care products like conditioning shampoos and rinse-off conditioners.
