Dimethicone. XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 350 cSt by Dow is a non-irritant, polydimethylsiloxane fluid. It is tasteless, odorless and non-toxic. It imparts soft & velvety skin feel and spreads easily on both skin & hair. It provides ease of application and prevents foaming during rubout. Moreover, it offers ease of buffering, color enhancement, high water repellency, high compressibility and high shearability without breakdown. It possesses detackification, dry & wet combing, reduced white residue & tackiness and water wash-off. It shows abrasion-, matt-, oxidation- & rub resistance. It exhibits high spreadability, compatibility, low environmental & fire hazard, low reactivity & vapor pressure, good heat stability and low surface energy. XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 350cSt finds application in formulating hand creams and lotions to form an effective barrier and a more uniform film. The shelf life of the product is 1080 days.
