Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone. XIAMETER™ PMX-1501 Fluid by Dow acts as a film former. It imparts soft & velvety skin feel, wash resistance and conditions split ends. It offers ease of styling, enhanced dry & wet combing, frizz control, hair manageability and reduced friction. It provides shine, long-lasting substantivity, quick absorption and volume control. It spreads easily on the hair and forms a protective film to prevent water loss from the hair shaft, caused by heat from styling tools. In deodorants, it provides long-lasting fragrance (up to 24 hr), immediate drying and no burning sensation. XIAMETER™ PMX-1501 Fluid finds application in formulating antiperspirants, deodorants, shower gels, leave-in conditioners, color cosmetics, sun-care and skin-care products.
