Opulyn™ PQG Opacifier

Ethalkonium Chloride Acrylate/HEMA/Styrene Copolymer. Opulyn™ PQG Opacifier by Dow acts as opacifier designed for cleansing formulations containing cationic conditioning agents. It is a sulfate-free cationic styrene acrylate emulsion polymer that modifies the appearance of formulations through efficient light scattering. It is also suitable for systems with high concentrations of amphoteric surfactants. Provide dense, creamy-like, uniform opacity, hide amber caste, haziness and imparts high whiteness or a pastel color effect to formulation when used with dyes. Suggested applications include formulations such as body washes, shampoos or liquid hand soaps. Opulyn™ PQG Opacifier contains methylisothiazolinone & phenoxyethanol as preservative.
