EcoSmooth™ OptiTouch

Ethylene/Octene Copolymer (and) Ethylene/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer. EcoSmooth™ OptiTouch by Dow acts as a sensory additive. It offers optical blurring and mattifying effects. It is an aqueous polyolefin dispersion which acts as a sensory enabler and also delivers specific optical effects, due to the particle characteristics of the polyolefin used in its formulation. It enhances sensorial properties of formulations, providing a velvety, non-sticky after-feel. Its smooth, round particles fill small imperfections on the skin surface and enable efficient light reflection leading to immediate reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and skin imperfections. EcoSmooth™ OptiTouch delivers an excellent mattifying effect without inducing any appearance of whiteness on the skin. It is compatible with most rheology modifiers used in cosmetics which are mainly anionic or non-ionic in nature. It is suggested for use in facial care products and foundations, eye serum, BB and CC creams and concealers.
