Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate. DOWSIL™ RSN-0749 RESIN by Dow is a film forming agent. It is a blend of 50% trimethylsiloxysilicate and 50% cyclopentasiloxane. After the evaporation of cyclopentasiloxane, the high-molecular-weight silicone resin forms a highly durable film on the skin. It offers film hardness, color protection, spreading, increased glide, reduced tackiness and long-lasting substantivity & wash-off resistance. DOWSIL™ RSN-0749 RESIN finds application in formulating color cosmetics, antiperspirants, deodorants, skin-care, hair-care and sun-care products. Recommended shelf life is 24 months.
