C9-12 Alkane (and) Bis-(Dimethylvinylsiloxy) Poly(Propanediol Dimer Dilinoleate)/ Dimethicone Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ EL-9400 Hybrid Elastomer Blend by Dow is a hybrid elastomer gel formulated in a bio-based and readily biodegradable carrier fluid, designed to enhance sensory performance and texture versatility in cosmetic formulations.
- It features blurring of skin imperfections, mattifying effect, and a non-greasy, slippery feel while delivering a smooth and rich sensory profile.
- It is free from animal-derived ingredients, non-GMO, and suitable for both hot and cold processing. It enables the creation of multiple textures while improving spreadability and after-feel.
- It is suitable for use in color cosmetics, skin-, body-, sun- and face-care applications.
- DOWSIL™ EL-9400 Hybrid Elastomer Blend has a shelf life of 2 years.
- Compliant with the Synthetic Polymer Microparticles European regulation (Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006).
