Isododecane (and) Dimethicone/Bis-Isobutyl PPG-20 Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ EL-8050 ID Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend by Dow acts as a delivery aid for lipophilic actives and rheology modifier in oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions & anhydrous gels. It is a pigment dispersion aid and texturing & sensory enhancer.
  • It is a mixture of high molecular weight polyglycol modified silicone elastomer in isododecane.
  • It provides dry, lubricious, silky, light, smooth, powdery & non-greasy skin feel and enhances aesthetics of anhydrous and water-based formulations.
  • It is cold processable and is compatible with a wide range of organic ingredients.
  • It offers transfer resistance, matte appearance, spreadability and an ability to create clear systems with organic components and exhibits thickening benefits in alcohol-based systems.
  • DOWSIL™ EL-8050 ID Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend finds application in formulating skin-care, color cosmetics, sun-care and hair-care products.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months at 40°C.
  • It is a non-GMO and vegan suitable grade.
