PEG-7 Dimethicone (and) Laureth-7 (and) Polysorbate 20. DOWSIL™ CE-1874 Microemulsion is a transparent, water-dispersible, non-ionic silicone emulsion. It is based on hydrophilic modified silicone technology, designed to provide hair with a light and smooth feel. In addition to improved sensory feel and ease of combing, it provides long-lasting color protection in a sulfate-free shampoo on permanently colored hair. The same shampoo also provides enhanced shine and repairs damaged hair while maintaining volume on bleached hair. It requires cold processing and can be used to formulate standard, sulfate-free and clear shampoos. It is also used in leave-in conditioners. It may require polymeric thickeners to achieve appropriate formulation viscosity in shampoos.
