Bis (C13-15 Alkoxy) PG-Amodimethicone. DOWSIL™ 8500 Conditioning Agent by Dow is a non-GMO, non-volatile conditioning agent. It is an amino-functional siloxane polymer free of emulsifiers, preservatives, animal- and vegetable-derived ingredients. It offers low yellowing, sensory enhancement, strong wet-, dry detangling, slipperiness, smoothness and improved color longevity. It possesses color protection, enhanced dry- & wet combing, hair alignment, hair repair, heat protection, reduced static, resistance to breakage, shine, straightening, volume control and reduced fly away. It shows excellent compatibility with cyclomethicone & isododecane and partial compatibility with ethanol. DOWSIL™ 8500 Conditioning Agent finds application in formulating clear & opaque conditioning shampoos, semi-permanent & permanent colorants, leave-in conditioning treatments (detangler, split end repair, hot oil, hair mask, mousses), anhydrous systems (fixatives & leave on) and hydrous systems (rinse-off conditioners). The shelf life of the product is 18 months. It is Vegan suitable.
