ACULYN™ 88 Rheology Modifier

Acrylates/Steareth-20 Methacrylate Crosspolymer. ACULYN™ 88 Rheology Modifier is an anionic hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE) that is lightly crosslinked with unusually high aqueous thickening and stabilizing efficiency. It acts as a rheology modifier. It is a cold-processable grade that immediately thickens upon neutralization providing ease of handling and increased manufacturing efficiency. It has a well-established toxicological profile and is safe in normal use. It offers shear-thinning rheology, excellent clarity, surfactant and solvent compatibility. It is very efficient at building viscosity. It imparts honey-smooth texture, spreading and flow to personal care formulations. It allows the suspension of particles, silicones, pearlizing agents and air bubbles. ACULYN™ 88 Rheology Modifier finds application in hair-, sun and skin care.
