Menthyl Nicotinate. NICOMENTHYL® 20 distributed by DKSH is a thermostable, preservative-free, multifunctional and sensorial active. It acts as a skin microcirculation enhancer, anti-pollutant, antioxidant, anti-aging- & detoxifying agent. It has self-emulsifying properties, which may result in the formation of stable micro-emulsions.

• It protects the skin against UV radiation, blue light, short waves (WI-FI), toxins, pollutants, and other external harmful factors.
• It is optimized by all those carriers having a good lipophilicity and a high spreading value.
• It protects the skin against harmful effects from external factors.
• It does not cause any flush, irritation, or sensitization, even in cosmetic compositions containing it at concentrations up to 3-5%.
• Its time-release delivery of niacin is 3 to 8 times higher than the skin absorption rate of the common niacinamide.
