Antaron™ ECo

Ethylcellulose. Antaron™ ECo distributed by DKSH is a non-preserved film former. It is derived from sustainably-sourced, zero-deforestation, wood-derived cellulose made in a water-based manufacturing process that minimizes the use of solvents. It offers excellent water resistance to sun care and color cosmetics products even in active conditions.

• It offers great aesthetics to formulations with minimal impact on viscosity.
• It works well in wide pH range and in emulsions (both water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions), anhydrous gels, alcohol sprays, sticks and creams.
• Antaron™ ECo is recommended for formulating daily moisturizers, foundations, lipsticks and eye products.
• It is Vegan suitable, Halal and Kosher certified.
• It is soluble in many polar skin care esters and organic UV filters.
