Polawax™ GP-200 by Croda is a preservative-, EDTA- & BHT/BHA-free, self-emulsifying wax. This plant and petrochemical derived ingredient is an optimised combination of vegetable-derived emulsifiers and stabilizers. It creates creams & lotions with an excellent texture and stability.
- It is a mild ingredient which remains stable in the presence of metals ions and over a wide pH and temperature range.
- In skin care products, it forms liquid crystals within the emulsion promoting time release hydration and functions as a slow release delivery mechanism for actives.
- Polawax™ GP-200 is used in bath, shower, soaps, antiperspirants & deodorants, after-sun, facial cleansers, hair relaxing/permanent waves, shampoos, shaving/hair removal, styling and sun protection products.
- Also, used in eye contour, body-, lip- & face/neck skin care products and hair-, lip-, nail care & color formulations.
- It is vegan, IECIC and JSQI certified.
