Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate. Arlacel™ 170 by Croda acts as an o/w & w/o emulsifier and bodying agent. It is an acid stable emulsifying wax, an optimized blend of glyceryl stearate and non-ionic PEG ester. It modifies viscosity and improves stability of emulsion. It is preservative, EDTA and
BHT/BHA free. Suitable for skin care creams & lotions, AHA/BHA or lactic acid creams, depilatories, antiperspirants/ deodorants and color cosmetics. Arlacel™ 170 is also used in hair conditioners, hair bleaches, chemical relaxers, straighteners and hair colorants.
