Methyl ferulate

Methyl 4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamate. Methyl ferulate by Creative BioMart is a derivative of ferulic acid esters. It exhibits liposolubility enhancing property greatly compared with ferulic acid. It possesses functions of anti-free radicals, anti-oxidation and body-building. It can promote blood microcirculation as well as protect the skin in cosmetics. This skin whitening agent helps to remove spots and inhibits the proliferation of endothelin on melanocytes. Methyl ferulate shows a superior inhibition on staphylococcus aureus and can reduce the use of preservatives after adding in cosmetics. It is used in sun-screening products, anti-aging products and plant preservative products.
